The Next Phase Begins

Today marks one week in Sweden for us, together anyway. I was here for about a month during May and June, but having the family here is a whole new thing! It's been an interesting transition for the kids, from small-town East Texas to apartment living in a Scandinavian city. The two hardest parts have been the shortness of the sun being down and the time change. Last night was the first night we mostly slept through the night; a big, and welcome, change! We're getting used to the pace of life as dictated by living in a smallish apartment and using public transit exclusively. I'm enjoying the public transit thing, it's been a great opportunity to get in a bit of extra reading. Work has been good, things are picking up with lots of drawings to review and equipment selection decisions beginning to happen.
