Should NOT Be Packing

Packing in advance is rarely a good idea. The reasons Lorah mentioned for this are valid, but I have another, highly important, reason why waiting until the last minute is the best way to pack: The last minute packing party with your friends.

What a great opportunity to enjoy one of the greatest benefits of friendship, sharing in suffering (as well as pizza, music, fun, and saying "goodbye"). We've got some boxes gathered and a truck reserved for pickup a few days before we move, and all we need now are a few strong backs and empty stomachs. With this in mind, I extend to all of you local  (and regional) friends to come by, grab some of  our stuff, and put it in a moving truck! For your help, you will receive many laughs, some pizza and something to wash it down. We're going to have our packing party on Saturday, the 13th of December. 

Remember, like me Pappy used to tells me, "Many hands make light work."
